The 2013 exhibition was another great success with fourteen layouts attending. There were
twelve diverse scale/gauge combinations on show including those in 1:25 scale, 0, 0-16.5, 0-14, 0-9, P4, EM, 00, 00-9, H0,
British N and 1:148 scale. Once again something for everyone! Layouts traveled from as far away as Cambridgeshire, Devon,
Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire portraying British, American, Australian, German &
South African standard and narrow gauge prototypes.
Fifteen members of the trade, including specialist manufacturers, had a presence at the show. This year we welcomed
Paul Sheath, who in taking over Kevin Robertson's general book retailing business, attended with Priory Books. Also new were Squires
Model & Craft Tools, replacing Page Components, who along with C & L Finescale and Coastal DCC added further diversity to our
trade offerings. There was a display by the model engineers from the Bentley Miniature Railway as well as the popular demonstration stand.
The show was very successful, with many comments being received as to the high quality of
the exhibits, the variety of trade goods on offer and the general friendliness of those taking part.
