Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Official Opening of
the Lewes & Uckfield Railway (18th October 1858).
Our 2008 Uckfield Model Railway Exhibition coincides with the 150th Anniversary celebrations of the opening of the Lewes & Uckfield Railway. The Saturday of the show falls exactly on the anniversary of the opening which took place on Monday 18th October 1858. The Exhibition will form part of wider celebrations planned for the locality and will once again be featuring a selection of some of the best quality layouts around. There will be full trade support as well as Demonstration & Engineering stands.

Opening Times 10:00am till 5:00pm Both Days.

Admission Prices are to be confirmed.

There will be at least 14 layouts portraying British, American
& Continental prototypes, including standard and narrow gauge practices.
Those invited include layouts to 7mm/ft scale (0, 0n16.5), 1:50 scale,
1:64 scale (S), 4mm/ft scale (P4, EM, 00, 00n9), 3.5mm/ft scale (H0),
3mm/ft scale, 2.06mm/ft scale (British N) and 1.6mm/ft scale (Z).

Trade invited include:-
Albert Goodall, Barry Jones, Dart Castings, Eileen's Emporium,
Eric Bobby, Kevin Robertson Books, No Nonsense Kits, Plus Daughters,
Realistic Modelling Services, Roxey Mouldings, South Eastern Finecast,
Steam Age, and The Hobby Box.
