The Club's new 'P4' layout under construction

Based on a trackplan in Iain Rice's 'Mainlines in Modest Places' book this new layout will portray a double tracked S.E.& C.R. through station situated in Kent.

Built to 4mm/ft scale and P4 standards the layout at 14ft x 12ft will be slightly larger than that in the book to accomodate the required minimum radii required.

For ease of construction the baseboards are to be rectangular in design and as can be seen are currently being built.

The Uckfield Model Railway Club is the home of the Scalefour Society's Wealden Area Group.
