Uckfield Model Railway Club
Club Affiliations
The Club is affiliated to The Model Railway Club and the Southern Federation of Model
Engineering Societies. It is also a member of the Chiltern Model Railway Association.
The Club is also home to the Wealden Area Group of the Scalefour Society.

The Model Railway Club.
The oldest model railway club in the world, supporting the hobby for over 90 years.
It has it's headquarters at Keen House near Kings Cross in London where layouts such as
Happisburgh (7mm) and Copenhagen Fields (2mm) are constructed.

Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies.
An umbrella organisation representing the interests of Model Engineering Societies in the
South and further afield. Manages an insurance scheme for those operating Miniature Railways
and other attractions.

Chiltern Model Railway Association.
The Association, founded in 1965, represents via clubs some 4,000 railway modellers.
It provides a forum for the discussion of matters affecting the hobby, including high
standards in the exhibition field.

The Scalefour Society.
The Scalefour Society caters for railway modellers working in the scale of 4mm : 1 ft
who want to achieve the most accurate and realistic models they can. The Wealden Area
Group of the Society has it's home within the Uckfield Model Railway Club's membership.
